Our fees

I use an income - based sliding scale structure on all Osteopathy appointments.

I understand that costs can make manual therapy prohibitive for many, and I want to help more people access Osteopathic treatment. The Green Bottle, designed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk and developed by embracingequity.org, is the framework I use for talking about financial experience. (See below)

Fees depend on an individual's financial capacity. This allows me to offer accessible therapy whilst also ensuring the sustainability of my practice.

Based on principles of economic justice, the fee clients pay is proportionate to what they have available to give. Those with more financial capacity support those with less capacity to access therapy.  

Please Bear in Mind…

• I work on a basis of trust and do not ask for proof of income.

• Please think carefully about which band best describes your circumstances in relation to others. 

• This sliding scale is offered in a spirit of generosity, my request is that clients use it honestly.

Please read through the section below and decide a band that best matches your circumstances. You do not need to agree with every statement. 

A: £70 Initial Consultation / £60 Follow-up:

• I am comfortably able to meet my needs all the time.

• I am employed and/or have a regular income.

• I have access to financial savings or assets.

• I have an expendable income

B: £60 Initial Consultation / £50 Follow-up:

• I am comfortably able to meet my basic needs the majority of the time.

• I am employed and/or have a regular income.

• I have access to limited financial savings

• I have some expendable income

C: Financial Hardship Rates

I reserve a limited number of slots for people who are experiencing financial hardship.

Fees are payable at the time of the consultation.

Receipts can be provided for reclaiming the cost of treatment. If you have a health insurance policy please check in advance what their conditions of cover may be.
